Family Adventure|Go Kart Racing
Every year or atleast every other year I go to Miami, Florida to be with my godson and family. For his birthday we decided to go to an amusement park/arcade called Boomers. Listen, this is not an ordinary theme park. It’s an indoor arcade, outdoor rollercoaster, miniature golf and go-kart track park. This is not your old school bumpers cars, you actually have to drive and know how to use your breaks.
This was such a great place to bring those of all ages to have a great time. For this event we had about fifthteen children and six adults with us. The warmth of Miami and the cool breeze was all I needed to enjoy my godson birthday, the go-karts was a perk. One of the things I really enjoyed about this location was that the children, teens and adults was able to have fun and participate in the activities.
There are different packages that can help those on a budget starting under fifty dollars. However, due to the size of the family, we decided to do a party package. The kicked off or family adventure since it covered the children arcade passes, miniature golf and food. The price to go kart driving is seperate from the arcade and was under $100 for several rides. It was worth purchasing! The track had music playing, the workers were really clear and strict when it came to informing everyone on safety procedures and the atmosphere was great!
It was my first time going racing and it was great. The wind in my hair and speed at my finger tips. It was fast, adventurous and right up my alley. There were sharp turns and hills which made the ride even better. It was a pleasure especially if you go with a group of friends (which I did) you get to race against eachother. Each person gets about five to nine minutes per run depending on how fast the individual goes. So if you were wondering if you should try this, you should.
What to Expect
- it can be a bit bumpy and a lot of hills. My suggestion is that you don’t eat anything heavy before, if you have a sensitive stomach.
- the pathway is extremely wide at this particular location so you have space to safely pass other drivers.
- Have money set aside for this attraction
- Go with friends/family and have FUN!
Remember don’t wait for you weight to take part in #ActivelyLIVING your life
Who would have thought this family adventure of go kart racing would be one of my best memories. Definitely finding adventure everywhere!

Go Kart Racing is one of our favorite family activities to do. Its a sport we never get tired of.
I have never been go cart racing. Thanks for the tips. We plan to do something this summer. 🙂
This looks like a LOT of fun. I’m sure my family would love an outing like this. So far only my husband has tried go kart racing but now that the kids are in their teens we should all go.
I absolutely love Go Kart racing!!!! Thanks for reminding me. I’m going to make it my mission to find a race track close to home to take the kids this summer.
This looks like a lot of fun. We haven’t gone in forever. Our five year old really wants to do this. Maybe sometime this summer we will.
Oh, how fun! While I’m not able to go-cart racing (wheelchair user), it’s definitely something I love to watch and would enjoy watching my niece do this. I have family in Florida, so will definitely recommend this. Thanks!
I haven’t been go karting in awhile. I looked at once place but they looked too slow for the price lol. Glad y’all had fun.
We haven’t been go karting in so long! But we love it! Thanks for this post, it reminds me that we need to go!
Love go-karts, so much fun. Especially when your family is competitive like mine is at everything.
